Mobile advertising is expected to grow this year with all the hype and all the new smartphones that offer unlimited apps on your smartphone. It seems pointless to have a computer now because people would much rather have themselves A tablet then A computer

Looking at some of the articles that have been written to compare the two smart phones one may have different views about them yet some are written in favour of either the N8 or the iPhone. Now when you look at the two devices they are both very good products two of the best smartphones out lately.

Running the latest iOS4 the iPhone 4 looks far better then the iPhone 3gs which is not surprising, running the A4 1ghz processing unit which is very powerful and impressing, is currently the slimmest smartphone on the market, with an option of 16g or 32g internal memory, facetime, Apple App store, 5 mega pixel camera, 960 x 640 IPS screen the “Retina Display” which knocks off all other competitors in the water managing 326ppi pixel density along with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 30FPS 720p video recording, multitasking and comes in the traditional black and white colours

A new Application on the web is coming out called social-shield which allows parents to monitor what their kids are viewing, who they are communicating with and how often and enables them to have advantage of any potential threat before it gets out of hand. I think this is a great way to get young kids interacting with their friends and families via social networks with protection for their own good. One solution that will limit human trafficking

While the study covers all of social media, it’s clear that women in the 18-34 range are focused on their Facebook accounts. More than half of young women (57%) say they talk to people online more than face-to-face. A full 39% of them proclaim themselves Facebook addicts, while 34% of young women make Facebook the first thing they do when they wake up, even before brushing their teeth or going to the bathroom.

Here are some other interesting stats regarding young women and Facebook:

  • 21% of women age 18-34 check Facebook in the middle of the night
  • 63% use Facebook as a networking tool
  • 42% think it’s okay to post photos of themselves intoxicated
  • 79% are fine with kissing in photos
  • 58% use Facebook to keep tabs on “frenemies”
  • 50% are fine with being Facebook friends with complete strangers

What conclusions can we draw from this data? It’s not just that young women are using Facebook religiously: it’s that they’re very open with what they post and who they accept as friends. Combined, it can lead to a privacy mess.
